October 22nd, 2009 - Sad Demise – Aunty Hema
“Dirty Pig” she used to yell at me. I would run miles away from her when I had done a mistake. How ever, over years I fell in love with her style of teaching mathematics. I was so impressed that I took private classes from her during my last year in school. Aunty Hema was a legend and is responsible for a lot of learning I have had in school especially with Mathematics and Physics which wasnt really the easiest of subjects for a Not-So-Studious kid.
Today I heard of her demise from juniors in school. It seems she underwent a heart attack and bid good bye to this complex world. We last met her in 2006 during the great Get-together of our school. I cannot forget her for ever and am sure none of you can ever.
She wrote on my Autograph book “Think like a man of actions and act like a man of thoughts“ – I am trying hard dear Aunty!
