I think ours was the batch that she not only taught Math, but was also the class teacher for the longest consecutive years..... from the 5th to 10th. All through the years, we knew her to be a tough person, with more than often..."Get out off my class". I have actually lost count as to the number of times I have been thrown out. But on passing out of the 10th, and at the farewell... tears in her eyes told us the whole story. May her soul rest in peace...... Aunty Hema….. When in 8th or 9th, I was successfully participating in many debates, GK competitions etc. One day she called me to the side and said "Siddharth, you are going up like a meteor. Make sure you stay there". Words I have never let go of. Aunty, wherever you are, you have the undying affection and gratitude of generations of your "children". RIP. I remember Aunty Hema not as much for her Math but for being an inspirational figure for me.
